The Administrative Landman performs a vital role in the management and administration of all Land related documents, agreements and records for the Company. This role requires knowledge of Oil and Gas leases, Division Order and Title Analysis, State and Federal Regulatory requirements pertinent to the Land Department functions, strong communication skills and mapping and platting skills. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Land and requires exceptional communication skills to interact with parties inside and outside the Company.
Required Qualifications: To be considered for the role of Administrative Landman applicants must have: - 10-15 years experience working with contracts, oil and gas leases and Title records curative.
- Certified Professional Landman is a plus.
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
- An in-depth knowledge and experience of oil, gas and mineral leases and Land related functions including Oil and Gas, Division Order and Title Analysis, knowledge of State and Federal Regulatory requirements.
- Able to analyze and compile data; ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate sound judgment and perform in a professional and congenial manner.
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work with limited supervision and to train and work with others.
- Mapping and platting skills.
Preferred Qualifications: In addition to the required qualifications the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate: - Petroleum Land Management Degree
